About
Hi! I’m Landy, a UC Santa Barbara graduate with a degree in Communications and a love for capturing moments through both photography and film. I grew up in Marin County, where the beauty is truly incomparable, and being surrounded by it shaped not only who I am, but the photographer I’ve become. Over the past several years, I’ve explored photography through fashion, events, celebrations, and creative brand work, always aiming to capture moments that feel intentional, honest, and real.
Ever since I was young, my love for fashion and creativity has lived side by side. While that creativity has taken different forms over the years, I’ve found that capturing fashion in all kinds of environments is what calls to me most. More than anything, photographing what inspires me is what really fuels my creative spark.
I first fell in love with photography in my high school film class, where we built our own light boxes and learned how to manually shoot, develop, and process film, then transfer those images to printer paper. That foundation stuck with me, but it wasn’t until college that my love for photography truly reignited, after I found an old film camera at a thrift store and instantly fell in love all over again.
Since then, I’ve been shooting everything around me. I now work with both film and digital setups that mirror the grain and process of shooting film for moments that require a bit of digital magic. While film will always be my first love, I enjoy blending both mediums. I’ve also grown into shooting film and digital video, and nothing brings me more joy than sitting down at my desk and editing those special moments for you.
